Sew Pretty Corp.

The mission of Sew Pretty, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, is to enhance the opportunities for persons with multiple sclerosis and disabled veterans to engage in community activities, increase their awareness of community resources, and serve as advocates for the disabled. We are MSers. (Multiple Sclerosis volunteers)

The Sew Pretty Corp. makes custom disability accessories and hand-made handbags of different materials, sizes and styles.  The company initially started out as a small home-based sewing and embroidery business.  The “Sew Pretty” business is a non-profit; our profits are donated to assist those with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Sew Pretty artists design and craft handbags and disability accessories that can be used on wheel chairs, walkers, and by bed bound individuals.  As the company grows and is in a position to hire part-time people to help meet demand, people with MS or veterans with disabilities will be given first consideration.  These will be part-time positions with wages that will fall within the disability laws.  If training to produce the purses and/or perform other business and computer duties is needed to continue the growth of the company, it will be provided to volunteers and employees as needed.
